American Statistical Association

The world’s largest community of statisticians, supporting excellence in the development, application, and dissemination of statistical science through meetings, publications, membership services. Its members serve in industry, government, and academia in more than 90 countries, advancing research and promoting sound statistical practice to inform public policy and improve human welfare.

Art of Problem Solving (AoPS)

Forums, problems, lectures, information and courses on a wide range of topics and levels.

Casualty Actuarial Society

Seeks to advance actuarial science through a singular focus on research and education for property and casualty actuarial practice.

Computing Technology for Math Excellence (CT4ME)

CT4ME is devoted to the standards movement and integrating technology into teaching and learning and into K-12 mathematics.  Find resources for the Common Core math standards, project-based learning, standardized testing, virtual manipulatives, tech integration, math apps and sites for basic skills, problem solving, homework assistance, games/simulations, multimedia development, web design, math initiatives, methodology, professional development, research, and news, including No Child Left Behind, the Every Student Succeeds Act, and the Common Core State Standards Initiative. 

Moody's Moody’s Mega Math Challenge (M3 Challenge)

Moody's Mega Math Challenge is a math modeling contest for high school juniors and seniors. Through participation, students gain the experience of working in teams to tackle a real-world problem under time and resource constraints akin to those faced by industrial applied mathematicians. The Challenge is sponsored by The Moody's Foundation and organized by SIAM and awards $150,000 in scholarships. It spotlights applied math as a powerful problem-solving tool, and as a viable and exciting profession.

Mu Alpha Theta

A student honor society that provides math competitions, offers special awards, and organizes a national convention for students with keen interest in mathematics.

Program in Mathematics for Young Scientists (PROMYS)

A six-week summer program focusing on mathematical proofs at Boston University for high school students.

Student Competition Using Differential Equations Modeling (SCUDEM)

This competition is for three member teams of students at the undergraduate or lower level. SCUDEM takes place over a week-long period that begins on a Monday at each team’s individual home campus and culminates on Competition Saturday at a regional host site in the United States and beyond.

Washington Student Math Association (WSMA)

An association that works towards creating an optimal environment for math clubs across the state of Washington to expand and thrive in a constructive, collaborative network.

Largest math modeling competition in China with over 85,000 participating college students from China, Singapore and the U.S. last year.
